About

"Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you anywhere." ~Albert Einstein

It's somewhere you visit everyday; probably more frequently than your bedroom, your kitchen, your car, your classrooms, your locker. It keeps you alive, keeps you going; moving you, giving your mind and your life structure and meaning. It's anything you want it to be: you're the ruler of every aspect of it's being. What in this life could we possibly be talking about?

Imagination. Everyone has one: without it, we are nothing, reduced to a gray life full of lackluster, depression, and emptiness. We need our imaginations: to guide us, to help us dream and reach our goals, to let us express and create ourselves.

Everyone has imagination and a way of expressing it. Yet, not all of us have someone to share it with; a place to go and share it freely and openly, to share it knowing you won't be judged or criticized. This, my friends, is where the IMAGINE Club comes into play.

The IMAGINE Club is a place for our peers, our classmates, and our friends to go to share their creative ideas, their stories, and their pieces of art and literature openly. Anyone is allowed to come and join: whether you're the bookworm who's head is constantly buried in a new book, the colorful artist who spends lunch in the art room with their sketch book, the popular jock who secretly likes to write poetry, or the average run-in-the-mill student who just likes to write down their thoughts occasionally, maybe turning them into a story of some sort. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come and share their work with us: we're always looking for new friends with new imaginations, new stories and pieces, and new and different shades of the imagination spectrum.

The IMAGINE Club is a "creativity" club, run and hosted by it's two co-presidents, Reanna and Brendan. Both of the students enjoy expressing their creativity and imagination in multiple ways, whether through writing, music, art, or theater. The club was created in hopes that students would finally have a place to go to share these wonderful pieces of themselves with other students possessing similar hobbies and passions and hopefully make some new friends along the way as well. At the end of each year, the club hopes to compile a large book containing all the creative works of the students in the club, such as their poems, short stories, comics, illustrations, photos, songs, playwrights, and much more. We hope that everyone apart of the club gets a fun, positive, and inspiring experience from each and every meeting we hold!
